Super Easy monoprint technique

Multi color overlay, color combo.

This is such a nice clear demonstration of the few steps involved - easy listening, too.  Demonstrates the marking, cutting and placing of two layered stencils, printed overlapping to create a 3 color image on a plain background.

Resist-Painted Stencil in Hoop

Pick up the next embroidery hoop you spy at your local re-cycle shop, along with some of that lovely nylon mesh curtain-y material to stretch into it.

This vid uses ModPodge,  specifically, but you can use any water-resistant liquid you happen to like. We like our decal cover-coat, f'rinstance because it can be used for wide coverage or details, depending on your application.

Apply the resist where you want to prevent the color from printing. Draw lines with resist and print color everywhere else, or paint the negative space around a shape to create color silhouettes.

Deconstructed Screen Print

I love this reversal technique! Look what happens to an ordinary latex glove! Is dis a system?

"better than jam"
Fun and informative from 13 secs to 3:52, then some seriously weird adworks. Dead ninja scarf? Giant Tampon stuffed toy?

Using a brush & stomp instead of a squeegee: no-fear printing!
